Over the years, I have been picking up interesting postcards at a variety of places. I have grand art plans for some and others I just found cool. At some point, I fell into a very large collection of vintage and antique postcards.
Along the way, I started to read the postcards that had been mailed and became interested in how they were used over time and what people wrote.
Postcard Archivist by Green Basics Inc. was created to share the postcards in my collection and their messages. Some of the un-used postcards will also be featured and most will be available for sale on my sister site Ephemeral Central.
Ephemera Central by Green Basics Inc. is the place to find a variety of vintage paper ephemera (postcards, maps, advertisements, greeting cards, playing cards, etc.) and other random stuff. I also have an additional selection on Etsy that includes glass, other vintage finds and some ephemera.
I enjoy finding new homes and new uses for vintage items. Items from Green Basics have been used in a variety of ways, including adding a bit of vintage flair, expanding a collection or as material for a new project.
